There are some cute funny moments in the movie. And it certainly had very good intentions of being better than it was.
But you will get a laugh or two in this film. The Mexican Spanish speaking actor the Father of the Bride he was really funny. The other guy the father is black father is a actor I've seen before.
Those were pretty good. And the bride and groom did a pretty good job as well. Not the greatest but it was fine. I think the mail groom actor should have been a little more polished and I know there's a lot of black actors out there that have education and speak clear and articulate but this particular groom actor wasn't the best pic.
But it will do. Kind Of Frustrating. It was cute. It had some funny moments. But it just felt like they were trying too hard to make the family differences funny and crazy.
The way some of the characters acted was over the top and frustrating, so much so, that I just wanted to get the movie over with.
I really liked this movie, it covered so many issues. It dealt with racism, arrogance,and in some instances bigotry. Very nice movie when each family had to deal with their own issues.
Unfortunately this was a very poorly written movie and the acting is sub par at best. I'm disappointed that I spent money to watch it.

The film is light hearted and humourous at time, but they could have worked a little more to make it a more real and have a more elaborated twist.
I chose this rating because it was a very good storyline and very funny in parts. A real love story and if you like love stories and a bit of reality included I would recommend this film and it also showed how different nationalities can sometimes get it wrong because they have preconceived ideas about different races.
