Verified Purchase. The Kruselings dolls are a great surprise. They are well made of heavy vinyl, the joints move smoothly, are well balanced so they stand easily, and have nicely painted features with pretty and lifelike set in glass eyes.
The joints on the dolls are firm so that the dolls can pose in many different positions. The hands and feet are nicely formed and look natural.
The clothing is well made and fits perfectly. The hair is thickly rooted and soft, but is a little greasy feeling, which is my only con. Her hair feels better after shampooing.
The Kruselings are very well done and well worth the money. Looking forward to getting them all. Kathe Kruse is known for quality and you can tell this doll is quality by the packaging and the well-detailed, well-sewn clothes.
The hair is nice. I was a little disappointing in the joints as they seem to not be as nice as, say, a Made to Move Barbie.
They don't always hold a pose and some are a little sticky to move but overall I'm pleased. I'd rather my 3 and 5 year old girls play with these dolls than Barbies.
Note: After 4 months of play the hair has gotten very ratty and snarled and the joints are not as tight as they were. They're still enjoyed and played with tho.
