Abraham vorrebbe partire subito verso Washington per salvare Eugene, ma Rick glielo impedisce, e i due arrivano quasi alle mani, se non fosse per l'intervento di Glenn che prega Abraham di aiutarli a respingere i cannibali di Terminus, in cambio lui , Maggie e Tara sarebbero andati con lui a Washington.
Dopo l'uccisione dei nemici inizia il viaggio verso Washington, che si rivela essere inutile , in quanto Eugene ha mentito circa l'esistenza della cura.
Tornato alla chiesa si dirige ad Atlanta, dove Maggie crede di riabbracciare sua sorella, che muore tragicamente per un colpo di pistola dovuto alla sua mal riuscita uccisione di Dawn uccisa subito dopo da Daryl.

Viene scelto Abraham che viene brutalmente massacrato a colpi di "Lucille", la mazza da baseball di Negan. Il suo corpo e quello di Abraham vengono portati ad Hilltop e seppelliti.

As they approach the warehouse, they find that the front area is infested with walkers, though a cage prevents them from being able to enter.
As the group enters, they encounter a zombified soldier wearing body armor. Despite Glenn's pleas not to shoot it, Aiden fires at the walker several times and hits one of its grenades, causing an explosion.
Tara is critically wounded, and Aiden is apparently killed. The explosion also weakens the cage, allowing walkers to enter the warehouse.
